Kitchen renovation in Brussels.

Strip-out, services, fitting and finishing. We coordinate your kitchen supplier, or we supply everything, from the worktop to the handles.

What it takes

The units arrive last. Everything else is settled before.

A fine kitchen with the wrong supply is a missing socket behind the oven and a carcass that can no longer be fitted. The visible part is chosen in a showroom; the part that makes the kitchen hold is prepared in the wall, before the plaster.

The method

Kitchen supplier or not, we handle the technical side.

Many clients have already chosen their kitchen from a supplier. Others want one point of contact for everything. Both cases work, and the quote says precisely who does what.

If you have a kitchen supplier

We prepare the room to the dimensions of their plan, we run the services to the right points, and we are there on fitting day for the water, electrics and waste connections. The supplier fits the units, we do everything else.

If we supply everything

We draw the layout with you, we order the carcasses, the worktop and the appliances, and we fit the lot. One quote, one number, one invoice.

The 6% VAT.
Same rule as any renovation: home more than ten years old, mainly private use, invoice to the final consumer. Since 2022, a mention on the invoice replaces the certificate. It covers labour and the materials we supply.

What it costs

The layout moves the price more than the surface.

For a medium-sized kitchen, reckon on between 5,000 and 15,000 euros depending on the units, the worktop and the appliances. Moving the sink or the hob, opening a load-bearing wall, choosing a stone worktop: those are the decisions that weigh, not the square metres.

A refresh without changing the layout starts lower. A kitchen open to the living room, with an island and a stone worktop, goes higher. The quote gives the firm price after a visit, item by item.

The line that counts.
The start date and the end date are written in the quote. The unit manufacture lead time is stated separately, because it runs in parallel with the works and not after.

Where we work

Three cases, three ways to rethink a kitchen.

The technique is the same. What changes is the space, the opening onto the rest of the home and the level of finish.

01

Closed kitchen to open up

The most common case in Brussels: knock down the partition between the kitchen and the living room, make good the floor and ceiling across the whole room, and rethink the layout for the new space.

02

Townhouse

Kitchen often on a half-level, onto the courtyard. Steel glazing towards the yard, cement-tile floor, ceiling height to use for tall storage up to the cornice.

03

Villa in Walloon Brabant

Large living space, central island, kitchen open to the terrace. Stone worktop, built-in appliances, full-height storage and an adjoining utility room.

We renovate kitchens in Uccle, Ixelles, Saint-Gilles, Forest, Anderlecht, Schaerbeek, Brussels City and Waterloo.

The result

The kitchen is prepared in the wall, not in the showroom.

The final look is chosen from a catalogue. What makes it hold is settled before the plaster.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Brussels?

Between 5,000 and 15,000 euros for a medium-sized kitchen, depending on the units, the worktop and the appliances. Moving the sink or the hob and opening a load-bearing wall are the decisions that weigh most. 6% VAT if the home is more than ten years old.

Do you work with my kitchen supplier?

Yes. We prepare the room to the dimensions of their plan, we run the services to the right points, and we are there on fitting day for the connections. They fit the units, we do the rest.

How long do the works take?

One to two weeks for the works, excluding the unit manufacture lead time which runs in parallel. The dates are written in the quote.

Can the kitchen be opened onto the living room?

Often yes. If the wall is load-bearing, we fit a beam after a calculation, with the syndic's agreement in a flat. We check the status of the wall before quoting and state the lead time in the quote.

Am I entitled to 6% VAT?

If the home is more than ten years old, mainly for private use, with an invoice to the final consumer, yes. Since 2022, a mention on the invoice replaces the certificate. It covers labour and the materials we supply.

Is the post-construction cleaning included?

Yes, it is included in the price and written in the quote.
