In short

Nothing before you agree

This site uses no advertising network, no social media buttons and no retargeting tools. The fonts are hosted by us, precisely so that your IP address is never passed to anyone else.

One measurement exists: Google Analytics, and it starts only after your explicit consent. Until you accept, no cookie is set and no request goes to Google. The two cookies involved, their lifetime and how to change your mind are set out in our cookie policy.

We only receive data if you send it to us, by filling in the quote request form or by calling us.

Who is the controller

Given the size of the company and the nature of the processing, we have not appointed a data protection officer. Your requests go to the address above and we answer them ourselves.

What we collect, and why

Only what you type into the quote form: your name, your company name where applicable, your phone number, your e-mail, your municipality or district, the floor area concerned, the type of work and your description of the project.

There is a single purpose: to call you back, come and measure, and draw up your quote.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request, under article 6.1.b of the GDPR. In plain terms: you ask for a quote, we process your data to produce it.

No field is used for anything else. We build no profile, we run no automated prospecting, and we take no automated decision about you.

Who else has access

Inside the company, only the people who prepare the quote and run the job.

Outside, a single technical provider is involved:

  • Formspree Inc., a company established in the United States, which forwards the content of the form to our mailbox. It acts as a processor, on our instructions only, under a data processing agreement.

This transfer to the United States is framed by the safeguards provided in Chapter V of the GDPR. If you would rather not use that channel, simply call us on 0467 88 59 52: the outcome is the same and no data passes through a third party.

We do not sell, rent or exchange your data with anyone.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiry that goes nowhere: three years from the last contact, then deleted.
  • Quote accepted and work carried out: the accounting and tax retention period required in Belgium, that is seven years, plus the duration of the decennial guarantee for the documents it covers.

After those periods the data is erased.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for:

  • access to the data we hold about you,
  • rectification if it is inaccurate,
  • erasure,
  • restriction of the processing,
  • portability, meaning to receive it in a machine-readable format,
  • to object to the processing.

Just write to info@freitasgroup.be or call 0467 88 59 52. We answer within one month. We may ask you to prove your identity, only to avoid handing your data to somebody else.

If our answer does not satisfy you

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority.

How we protect this data

The site is served over HTTPS, so encrypted end to end between your browser and the server. It is entirely static: no public database, no accounts, no server-side code, which cuts the attack surface considerably.

The enquiries we receive stay in our business mailbox, password protected, and reachable only by the people who need them.

Changes

If we ever add a tool that processes data, analytics for instance, this page will be updated before it goes live, and your consent will be requested where the law requires it. The date at the top shows the last revision.
